There are big defferences between films in China and films in Western.Chinese films have a variety of subject themes,stories from history,fron mythes,folkore,legend and so on.Western films tend to be close to everyday life.They have no history,perhaps that is the reason.Not like China,it has thousands of years of history.
The films in China focus on the expression of indivisual one's life,feelings and so on.They usually use a narrative way to show the theme of the films.Western films like to use special effect to catch audiences' eyeball.No doublt Chinese films have deeper meanings in them while the western films only descripe something in shallow.
