My dream
I want to be a translator so that I will be able to learn foreign language of many different countries. It is free and happy to be a translator because I can travel around the world and make friends with people from different culture. I will then have the chance to know more about the customs and habits at different parts of the world.
I have found that foreign language quite interesting since I was very young. Also at the same time I think our mother language Chinese is very attractive and beautiful. I read a joke before and it described about how foreigners try to learn Chinese. For example， when they tried to remember the Chinese word of ‘狼’, they used the word ‘long’to represent it; When they were talking about the word of ‘兔’, they found out that it is quite similar to the pronunciation of ‘too’. Though it is just a joke, it still tells us about the fact that it is not easy for foreigners to pronounce as good as Chinese; their pronunciation is a difficulty for them to cover.
So I have decided to study English very hard and try as best as I could to become a translator. Because as we all know English is an international language and by studying it I will be able to communicate with foreigners. It will be much less difficult to talk with people from other countries if I am a translator.
Therefore I have been dreaming of being a translator for long and I am sure that my dream will come true very soon as long as I try hard and study hard.
